  4. Insert the plug or extension lead to power your required load.

Removal

  1. Press the unlock button on the top of the connector.
  2. Power will stop, and the lock will disengage.

Troubleshooting

Power Does Not Engage

  • Ensure the charger is powered and capable of supplying at least 3.3 kW.
  • Check that the charger is not disabled by a schedule.
  • Smart chargers with app control often have schedules set to charge at specific times. Disable these to use the device immediately. Common terms for this setting include: ‘Disable scheduling’, ‘Max charging’, ‘Smart charging’.

Connector is Stuck

  • While pressing the connector into the charger, press the unlock button.
  • When you hear a click, pull out the connector.
  • This method helps to release tension on the locking pin.

Power Cuts Out

  • If power cuts out under load, check that the load is not exceeding 13 A. The device will disable power if more than 13 A is drawn for over five seconds.
  • If power cuts out within 30 seconds of plugging in (without load), the charger may be unable to supply sufficient power. Check that there is no current or power limit set in the charger’s app.
